Hi Arne,

I am sorry that I can't help with printer issues, as not all printers support printing to custom paper size as small as your cheque, especially entry level printers.

Canon Pixma E410

I feel like junking this 1 week old printer since it can't even print the last number in the date. Everything else is perfect.

Maybe one day you'll find a solution?

Going to continue testing in an Excel template instead

Thank god banks don't bother with handwritten dates mixed with printed text.

Just wondering, could your Excel template print precisely on the cheque using the same printer?

I am using HP2130 printer. It does not print the last digit of the date.

This may be a printer compatibility issue, not all printers support printing to custom paper size as small as your cheque, especially entry level printers.
