Hi Kap Chew,

I try using landscape, it can be printed out. But using landscape is quite difficult as the cheque stuck quite easily.

Believe it is the printer driver issue. Will try to re-install an updated driver again.

Hi Joel, I see now. With your printer and Windows 8, does it print nicely without any Printer Adjustment? If so I could share your printer info as one of the supported printer models.

HI Kap-Chew,

Yes. The model are Brother MFC-7840N (Network Printer) work well for both win 7 and win 8.
Model HL-2170W work well with Win 8. But win7 only landscape.

I have just change the driver. It is working fine now.

For Brother HL-2170W, although my notebook is win7 64 bit, I use a 32 bit driver for the printer. Then it is working.

Using 64 bit driver for HL-2170W can only work in Landscape. Hope this is helpful for others who may try to re-install their printer driver with 32 Bit if necessary.
